Baseball Recap: Meek Comes Up Short

Meek managed to slip by Cold Springs the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 13-3 to the Eagles on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly ten runs.

Mason Powe was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Meek and nudges their season record down to 10-13. As for Cold Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meek will take on Brilliant at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cold Springs, they will square off against Vinemont at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Vinemont will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Cold Springs surely won't give up without a fight.
