Volleyball Recap: Harrison Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Harrison entered their tilt with Lafayette Jefferson on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bronchos. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Harrison took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-8, 25-12.

Mak Ketterer paced Harrison's offense, picking up seven kills. Ketterer got some help from Jillian Deno and her 19 assists. Deno also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kaylee Swihart, each putting up three.

Harrison's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Lafayette Jefferson, they dropped their record down to 5-14 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Harrison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Plainfield on the 27th. As for Lafayette Jefferson, they will face off against Faith Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
