Basketball Recap: Estrella Comes Up Short

The Estrella Sidewinders were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 53-47 to Ville de Marie Academy.

Estrella's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Ville de Marie Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Estrella has already played their next contest, a 54-45 victory against Telesis Prep on the 15th. Hopefully Ville de Marie Academy paid attention to Estrella's matchup: the next time they hit the court , they'll take on Estrella at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
