Marsh Valley is a perfect 10-0 against American Falls since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles will head out to take on the Beavers at 4:00 p.m. Marsh Valley's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so American Falls' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Marsh Valley's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Tuesday's struggle, when Burley hitters got past them. The Eagles lost 13-5 to the Bobcats on Tuesday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, American Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of Teton.

Mason McClurg was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Williams, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

American Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Marsh Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 12-2.

Marsh Valley took their win against American Falls when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 20-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
