Soccer Recap: Heritage Leadership Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Heritage Leadership Academy was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They came up short against the Durham Charter Lions, falling 4-1. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Heritage Leadership Academy struggled afterwards.

Their goal came courtesy of Silas Throckmorton, who's now up to seven this season.

Heritage Leadership Academy's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1-1 and their overall record down to 7-4-1. As for Durham Charter, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1-1.

Heritage Leadership Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Durham Charter, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against Winston Salem Christian on the 17th.
