Basketball Recap: Laurel Comes Up Short

Laurel lost against Shenango back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Laurel Spartans took a 50-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shenango Wildcats.

Laurel now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Shenango, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Laurel will host Rochester at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shenango, they will take on Union Area at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
