Coral Shores won the last time they faced Basilica, and Ivy Tiedemann did her part to make sure it happened again. The Hurricanes came out on top against the Mariners by a score of 3-1 on Monday thanks in part to Tiedemann, who had 24 digs and five assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Coral Shores had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-20, 25-13, 25-10.

Coral Shores' victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Basilica, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Coming up, Coral Shores will welcome Key West at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Conchs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Hurricanes surely won't give up without a fight. As for Basilica, they will challenge Marathon at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
