Scottsburg has gone 7-2 against Eastern recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Warriors will square off against the Musketeers at 6:00 p.m. Scottsburg is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Scottsburg fell victim to Madison and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cubs, falling 10-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Warriors, who until this contest were averaging 3.2 runs allowed.

Meanwhile, Eastern gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 victory over Orleans.

Eastern's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Scottsburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-2.

Scottsburg took their victory against Eastern in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 25-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
