Baseball Recap: Riverside Starts Season with Victory Against Tuscarora

Riverside had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Tuscarora Huskies on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Ram as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Tuscarora's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Riverside will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Loudoun Valley at 6:30 p.m. on March 27th. As for Tuscarora, they will head out to square off against Briar Woods at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
