Soccer Game Preview: Martinsville vs. Floyd County

The Martinsville Bulldogs will challenge the Floyd County Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Martinsville is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Floyd County on Monday. Neither Martinsville nor Floyd County could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The outcome might've been different if Xavier Rodriguez hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Elijah Dixon and Josue Velasquez scored both of Martinsville's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

With that draw, Martinsville's record moves to 1-0-1. As for Floyd County, they moved theirs to 0-1-2.
