Basketball Game Preview: Fisher Bunnies vs. Westville Tigers

The Fisher Bunnies will challenge the Westville Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fisher has three straight victories, Westville has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Saturday, Fisher earned a 47-40 win over Heritage.

Meanwhile, Westville played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 72-12 loss at the hands of Cissna Park. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Gwen Bennett was Westville's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Bennett also led the team in rebounds with four.

Fisher's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Westville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Fisher strolled past Westville when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 46-31. Will Fisher repeat their success, or does Westville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
