Softball Recap: Highlands Comes Up Short

Highlands managed to slip by San Antonio Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Owls lost 13-1 to the Lions on Thursday. The defeat leaves the Owls still looking for their first win of the season.

Jenesis Rodriguez was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Highlands' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for San Antonio Christian, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Highlands will take on Providence Catholic at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. As for San Antonio Christian, they will challenge Lanier at 8:30 a.m. on Friday.
