Softball Recap: Sierra Takes a Loss

Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 19-2 to the Patterson Tigers. If the Timberwolves were looking for revenge after losing 8-7 to the Tigers when the teams met back in March of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sierra saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gia Garcia, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Patterson, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sierra is set to challenge their familiar foe East Union at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Patterson will take on rival Central Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
