Baseball Recap: San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy Comes Up Short

San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 21-1 to the Jim Ned Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-2 on Tuesday.

San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eric Heitzenreiter, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Jackson Martin also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Jim Ned, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-2.

Looking ahead, San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy will challenge San Angelo HomeSchool at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jim Ned, they will head out to face off against Sweetwater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jim Ned's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Sweetwater's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
