Basketball Recap: Latta's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Latta had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 50-44 victory over the Stonewall Longhorns on Friday. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 52-35 win the Longhorns walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Latta's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12. As for Stonewall, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

Latta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 43-34 defeat against Byng on the 1st. As for Stonewall, they will challenge Earlsboro at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
