Volleyball Recap: Chapman Comes Up Short

Chapman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillsboro Trojans. The Irish were not able to make up for their loss to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Chapman's offense was headlined by Olivia Harold and Kyah Bell, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Adelynn Kirkpatrick and her ten assists.

Among those leading the charge was Amyah Werth, who had 14 digs and one assist. She has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Chapman's defeat dropped their record down to 12-21. As for Hillsboro, their win bumped their record up to 23-8.

Chapman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Halstead on the 11th. As for Hillsboro, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Haven on the 11th.
