Softball Recap: Izard County Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Izard County's offense. They fell just short of the Concord Pirates by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Izard County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Concord, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Izard County will welcome Mammoth Spring at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Concord, they will host Viola at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
