Basketball Game Preview: Tioga Bulldogs vs. Callisburg Wildcats

Tioga is 0-3 against Callisburg since November of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Tioga Bulldogs will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Callisburg Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Tioga picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They took down Chilton 30-14. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Callisburg entered their tilt with Bridgeport on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 50-38 win over the Bulls. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Callisburg is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Tioga, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Tioga took a serious blow against Callisburg in their previous matchup back in November of 2020, falling 74-25. Thankfully for Tioga, Jesse Klein (who posted 13 points and six assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
