Basketball Recap: Heyworth Comes Up Short

Heyworth lost against LeRoy two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Heyworth Hornets took a hard 41-22 fall against the LeRoy Panthers. The game marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Heyworth's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for LeRoy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heyworth will take on Tri-Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri-Valley will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Heyworth surely won't give up without a fight. As for LeRoy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
