Legion Preparatory Academy is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of PHH Prep National. The Legion Preparatory Academy Bulldogs were the clear victor by an 85-65 margin over the PHH Prep National Fire Frogs. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Legion Preparatory Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maiesha Washington, who posted 21 points and seven rebounds. Kamora Pruitt was another key player, putting up 17 points and five rebounds.

Legion Preparatory Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for PHH Prep National, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Legion Preparatory Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 110-45 win against Dream City Christian National on the 14th. As for PHH Prep National, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bella Vista College Preparatory School at 8:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. PHH Prep National has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
