Basketball Recap: Lindsay's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Lindsay put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Silo Rebels 66-42. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Leopards also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Lindsay got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Armando Hernandez out in front who shot 67% from the field on his way to 21 points and eight boards. Thanks to that strong game, Hernandez now owns an excellent 47.9% field goal percentage. Creed Taylor was another key player, putting up 17 points.

Lindsay smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Lindsay's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Silo, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Lindsay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-41 victory against Marlow on the 16th. Silo has also already played their next matchup (against Bethel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
