Donovan Catholic strolled into their game  on Saturday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Rancocas Valley Red Devils  a   17-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Griffins, who have now won 15 matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Christina Ginex and  Caroline Kopp did most of the damage at the plate:  Ginex  fired off two  home runs and four  RBI while going 3-for-3, while  Kopp  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, six  RBI,  and three  runs. That's the most  home runs  Ginex has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Isabella Cino, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs and one  double.
 Donovan Catholic  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .613. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rancocas Valley only posted  an  OBP of  .133.
Donovan Catholic's record now sits at 18-0. As for Rancocas Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.
 Donovan Catholic and Rancocas Valley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. The Griffins will  face off against  Marlboro  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday with a big rank  advantage  (1 vs. 91). Meanwhile,  Rancocas Valley (ranked 39th) will meet Cherry Hill East (ranked 147th)  at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday.
