Baseball Recap: Griffith Institute Takes a Loss

Griffith Institute lost against Iroquois on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Griffins came up short against the Redhawks, falling 8-2. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Griffith Institute's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Iroquois, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Griffith Institute will challenge Bishop Timon-St. Jude at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Iroquois, they will face off against Nichols at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Redhawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
