Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Andrew). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 52-0 win over the Hammond Central Wolves. Given the Thunderbolts' advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 105th in Illinois, while the Wolves are ranked 305th in Indiana) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Andrew and bumps their season record up to 3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.0 points over those games. As for Hammond Central, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Andrew will take on Stagg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Thunderbolts will be up against the Chargers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hammond Central, they will head out on the road to take on Hammond Morton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Wolves their first taste of in-conference action this season.
