North Grand came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Collins Warriors 14-12. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-5 on Tuesday.

North Grand's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Collins, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.

As of now, neither North Grand nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
