Christian Center lost to the Immaculate Conception Academy Cristeros back in January of 2023, but Christian Center didn't allow the Immaculate Conception Academy Cristeros the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Christian Center walked away with a 48-37 win over Immaculate Conception Academy.
When it comes to explaining why Immaculate Conception Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dominic Wilhelm. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points along with six rebounds. Wilhelm scored a full 43.2% of Immaculate Conception Academy's points, the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Karl Jones, who scored nine points.
The win got Christian Center back to even at 1-1. As for Immaculate Conception Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Christian Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Immaculate Conception Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th.
