The win (which was USC-MAE's eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Annenberg, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
