Basketball Recap: South Oldham Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for South Oldham, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Walton-Verona Bearcats on Thursday as the South Oldham Dragons made off with an 81-57 win. This was payback for the Dragons, who suffered a 70-62 loss the last time these two teams met.

South Oldham now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Walton-Verona, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.

South Oldham will be home for the holidays to greet Christian Academy-Louisville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Walton-Verona, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-65 victory against Spencer County on the 13th.
