Basketball Recap: Pittsburg Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Pittsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 60-42 bruising from the Littleton Crusaders. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Crusaders are ranked second).

Pittsburg's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6. As for Littleton, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pittsburg will take on Gorham at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Littleton, they will challenge Colebrook Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Littleton's favor as the squad sits on nine straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Colebrook Academy has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
