Baseball Recap: Xaverian Comes Up Short

Xaverian managed to slip by Xavier the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Xaverian lost 13-5 to Xavier on Thursday. The Clippers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Xaverian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Buffa, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI. That hit marked the first that Buffa got this season.

Xaverian's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Xavier, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Xaverian will head out to face off against Kellenberg Memorial at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Xavier, they will take on Archbishop Stepinac at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
