Volleyball Recap: Abernathy Antelopes vs. Plains Cowboys
Abernathy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Plains Cowboys. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Antelopes of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-18, 25-6.
Abernathy's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Plains, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-11.
Abernathy will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Olton at 12:00 p.m. Abernathy is facing Olton at the right time seeing as Olton is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Plains, they will head out to square off against Tahoka at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Plains is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
