Basketball Recap: Sage Ridge Piles Up the Points Against Coleville

Sage Ridge won the last time they faced Coleville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Sage Ridge Scorpions simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Coleville Wolves 71-26. That looming 71-26 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Scorpions yet this season.

Sage Ridge's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taylor Sullins, who almost dropped a triple-double on 15 points, nine rebounds, and ten assists. Sullins is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Daniel Dicante, who went 5 for 7 en route to 12 points and seven steals.

The victory got Sage Ridge back to even at 7-7. As for Coleville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Sage Ridge will take on Virginia City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coleville, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Tonopah at 7:30 p.m.
