Volleyball Recap: Porter Ridge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Porter Ridge extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 13 on Wednesday, dropping them down to 0-2. They fell 3-1 to the Parkwood Wolf Pack. Pirates fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Wolf Pack since Wednesday.

As for Parkwood, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The game was the first time they have beaten Porter Ridge on their court since August 15, 2018.

Parkwood found their leader in sophomore Rowyn Burkey, who had 37 assists and four aces.

Porter Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Central Academy of Technology & Arts on the 14th. As for Parkwood, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Union Academy on the 14th.
