Baseball Game Preview: Orange Panthers vs. Seaforth Hawks

The Orange Panthers will face off against the Seaforth Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Orange took on Chapel Hill on Wednesday. Orange came out on top against Chapel Hill by a score of 9-5. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Ryan Sawyer looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Kayden Bradsher was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry Hoffman, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Seaforth had just enough and edged out Southern Alamance 4-2 on Thursday.

The win got Orange back to even at 1-1. As for Seaforth, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
