Rock Falls took a seven-run loss the last time they faced off against Oregon, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rockets came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hawks on Monday, sneaking past 6-4. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rockets as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Zoey Silva spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Rock Falls got a big performance out of Jeslyn Krueger, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one double. That's the most runs Krueger has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Abi Skibinskie, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Rock Falls' win bumped their record up to 8-18. As for Oregon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-7.
