Baseball Game Preview: South Davidson Wildcats vs. Thomasville Bulldogs

South Davidson and Thomasville are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. South Davidson will host Thomasville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

South Davidson came up short against Salisbury on Friday, falling 16-6. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Zander Floyd made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. He has become a key player for South Davidson: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 2-6 otherwise. Myles Scercy also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
