Central Christian is 10-0 against St. Peter since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Central Christian Comets will head out on the road to square off against the St. Peter's Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Central Christian came up short against Lake Center Christian and fell 54-44. The loss continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Tiger: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, St. Peter's was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-51 heartbreaker at the hands of South Central.

St. Peter's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Central Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Central Christian took their win against St. Peter's in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 64-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Central Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
