            Football Recap: Arroyo Knights vs. Rosemead Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            
If Arroyo was feeling good  fresh off their  35-10 takedown of Gabrielino last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights took  a  21-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rosemead Panthers on Friday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
 When it comes to explaining why Arroyo lost, don't look at  Sebastian Villalobos. Despite the final result, he rushed for 103 yards and one  score on only 13 carries.
 Rosemead found their leader in sophomore  Adrian Marquez, who threw for 191 yards and one  touchdown, and also rushed for 70 yards on only eight carries.  Cesar Rivas was in the mix  too, providing the Panthers with one TD.

With the  defeat, Arroyo broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-5. As for Rosemead,  the  win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 4-5.
 Arroyo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  48-15  victory against Mountain View on the 30th. As for Rosemead, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  67-0  win against Marshall on the 30th.
