Olathe East put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the O'Gorman Knights 11-4. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Caden Wallace was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Wallace was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other pitching news, Brett Liezert looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits.

Back at the plate, Olathe East got a massive performance out of Luke Venneman, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. That triple was Venneman's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Murray, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Olathe East kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive games.

Olathe East's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for O'Gorman, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Olathe East and O'Gorman will both be playing Shawnee Mission Northwest the next time they take the field. O'Gorman will head out to face Shawnee Mission Northwest at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, while Olathe East will head out to face them on Tuesday.
