Ridgeview Christian falls despite strong effort from Isaac Nice

The Ridgeview Christian Crusaders fought the good fight in their overtime game against the Blue Ridge Christian Bears on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 64-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

When it comes to explaining why Ridgeview Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Isaac Nice. Despite the final result, he scored 29 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nice has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Painter, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.

Ridgeview Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Blue Ridge Christian, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Ridgeview Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 83-47 loss vs. Roanoke Valley Christian on the 8th. Blue Ridge Christian has also already played their next match, a 45-30 defeat against Regents on the 9th.
