Basketball Recap: Culbertson Takes a Loss

Culbertson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 54-41 to the Brockton Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-42 back in January.

Brockton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Lone Bear, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Tamryn Bauer, who scored 13 points.

Culbertson's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Brockton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Bainville the next time they take the court. Culbertson will head out to face Bainville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Brockton will host them at 4:00 p.m. on February 15th.
