Volleyball Recap: Moapa Valley Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Moapa Valley can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to The Meadows School Mustangs on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost six in a row.

Daisie Gordon paced Moapa Valley's offense, picking up nine kills. Gordon got some help from Phoebe Leavitt and her 16 assists. Chloe Dalley controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Moapa Valley's loss dropped their record down to 13-22. As for The Meadows School, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-9.

As of now, neither Moapa Valley nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
