Baseball Recap: Madison-Grant Finds Home Field Redemption Against Taylor

There's no place like home for Madison-Grant, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Taylor Titans by a score of 10-7 on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Argylls considering their one-run performance the game before.

The team relied heavily on Andy Stanley, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dylan Martin, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Madison-Grant hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Taylor struck out seven times.

Madison-Grant's record is now 11-6. As for Taylor, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Madison-Grant will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Blackford at 5:00 p.m. The Argylls are facing the Bruins at the right time seeing as the Bruins are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Taylor, they will face off against Tri-Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
