Basketball Recap: Lake Roosevelt Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brewster, Lake Roosevelt was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They secured a 33-29 W over the Tonasket Tigers. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 58-40 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lake Roosevelt's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-9. As for Tonasket, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Lake Roosevelt won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lakeside at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tonasket, they will square off against Brewster at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brewster will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Tonasket surely won't give up without a fight.
