Fredonia wins going away against Salamanca

Recap: Fredonia Hillbillies vs. Salamanca Warriors

The Fredonia Hillbillies entered their tilt with the Salamanca Warriors with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Fredonia enjoyed a cozy 77-61 win over Salamanca on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given Fredonia's disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 360th, while Salamanca is ranked 120th).

Fredonia had a senior duo take command as Mike Hahn shot 7-for-9 from deep and dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds and Davion White scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hahn has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Luca Gullo, who scored 11 points.

Fredonia's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Salamanca, their defeat ended a 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 14-4.

Fredonia will head out on the road to face off against Olean at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fredonia has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 292 points over their last four games. As for Salamanca, they will be playing at home against Southwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Salamanca is coming into the matchup with 15 straight losses at home, meaning Southwestern will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
