Baseball Recap: Dracut Comes Up Short

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Dracut was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Methuen Rangers by a score of 3-1. The Middies haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Dracut's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Methuen, they pushed their record up to 5-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dracut will face off against Lowell at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Methuen, they will challenge Andover at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Warriors will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rangers surely won't give up without a fight.
