Basketball Recap: Isaac Sherrod Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Veritas Academy

Trinity Christian won the last time they faced Veritas Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. Trinity Christian came out on top against Veritas Academy by a score of 55-47.

Trinity Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaac Sherrod out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine steals. With that strong performance, Sherrod is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. Nathan Suchovsky was another key player, putting up 17 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.

The win got Trinity Christian back to even at 3-3. As for Veritas Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Trinity Christian will host Bible Baptist Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Veritas Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against The Habersham School at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
