Olympic had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.2 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They never let the Central Cabarrus Vikings get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Olympic's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 125th, while Central Cabarrus are ranked 477th).

Olympic's victory bumped their record up to 11-4-3. As for Central Cabarrus, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-12.
