Gunnison has gone 8-2 against Moffat County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Cowboys will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Gunnison's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while Moffat County has been banged up by ten consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Gunnison hadn't beaten Basalt on the road since October 28, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Cowboys were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Longhorns.

Meanwhile, Moffat County came up short against Grand Junction on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-10, 25-9.

Moffat County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Gunnison, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.
