Taylor McQuillin of Mission Viejo is Junior of the Year; Indiana's Elish named Top Sophomore; Alabama freshman honored after record-setting season.
Taylor McQuillin, a 5-foot-8 left-handed pitcher who posted a 25-1 record in the circle with a 0.69 ERA this past season and led
Mission Viejo (Calif.) to the Southern Section D-2 title, has been named MaxPreps Junior Softball Player of the Year.
A two-time South Coast League MVP, McQuillin struck out 316 batters and walked just 18 in 173.2 innings pitched. She fired four no-hitters, including two perfect games, and held opponents to a .120 batting average.
At the plate, McQuillin, who is blind in her left eye, batted .323 with one home run and a .525 slugging percentage.
McQuillin, who has committed to Arizona, was overpowering as the Diablos played one of the toughest nonleague schedules in the country. She was better in the playoffs, closing out the season with five consecutive shutouts, including a three-hitter with 17 strikeouts in a 1-0 quarterfinal victory in 10 innings over Westlake and a one-hitter with 17 strikeouts in a 1-0 triumph over Chino in nine innings in the D-2 title game.
McQuillin, who was the Orange County Register's Pitcher of the Year and the CIF Southern Section D-2 Player of the Year, was named Gatorade's National Player of the year.

P - Taran Alvelo, Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, Ohio)Alvelo, 27-3 on the season, limited opponents to 45 base hits in 182 innings and posted a 0.46 ERA. In seven postseason games, she threw five shutouts (including 91 strikeouts in the final five games). She finished the season with 378 and has a career mark of 1,111. She finished the year with 10 no-hitters and 16 shutouts. She also batted .455 with 32 RBIs and seven home runs. Alvelo has committed to Washington.
P - Maddie Damon, Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, Minn.)Damon, who was 26-0 as a junior and led Kasson to the state 2A title, had more than 1,175 strikeouts in three seasons. She pitched 20 shutouts, six no-hitters, 10 one-hitters and allowed just 36 base hits. Damon batted .377 with 26 RBIs. She has committed to Purdue.
P - Rachel Garcia, Highland (Palmdale, Calif.)Garcia led Highland to the CIFSS D-3 quarterfinals with a 21-3 pitching record. She also had a 0.36 ERA with 323 strikeouts in 156 innings. At the plate, Garcia batted .492 with nine homers and 36 RBIs. She has committed to UCLA.
P - Colette Robert, McLoughlin (Milton-Freewater, Ore.)

Robert led McLoughlin to the Oregon 4A state title and was named the state's 4A Pitcher of the Year. She won 23 of 26 games and walked just nine while striking out 257 in 171 innings. Her ERA was 0.99. Robert, who has committed to New Mexico, also batted over .700 and drove in 50 runs with 25 extra base hits.
P - Abby Langkamp, The Woodlands (Texas)Langkamp went 26-1 with a 1.69 ERA and 184 strikeouts (only 35 walks) over 156.2 innings this season as The Highlanders were 39-4. She has committed to Baylor.
P - Brynne Fitzpatrick, Valley Christian (San Jose, Calif.)Fitzpatrick allowed an average of two hits per game and more than two strikeouts per inning in winning 21 games and posting a 0.60 ERA. She had 381 strikeouts (186 innings), pitched five no-hitters and eight one-hitters. She is also the only pitcher to beat No. 3 ranked Archbishop Mitty (30-1) in 2014. She has committed to California.
P - Cheyenne Eggens, Mathews (Vienna, Ohio)Eggens had 419 strikeouts in 218 innings to go along with a 0.38 ERA and a 28-4 record. In a 1-0, 13-inning victory over Bristol, Eggens struck out 28. She has committed to the University of South Florida.
P - Tara Trainer, Lebanon (Ohio)Trainer, coming off knee surgery, went 19-1 this season with a 0.45 earned run average, striking out 256 batters in 123.2 innings. Her only loss came in the Division I state semifinals.
P - Kendra Friedt, Southington (Conn.)Freidt went 24-0 and in 137 innings, she allowed just seven runs — five earned, which translates to a 0.25 ERA. She yielded 22 walks while fanning 247. Of the 43 base hits she allowed, only three went for extra bases. Friedt, who has committed to Boston, also batted .500 as Southington won the large school state title.
P - Mary Williams, Cape Fear (Fayetteville, N.C.)Williams won 26 games and led Cape Fear to the 4A state final. She batted .483 and drove in 43 runs. In 166 innings, she recorded 247 strikeouts.
P - Regan Green, Laurel (Del.)Green led the Bulldogs to a 19-2 record and a second-consecutive state championship this past season. A returning first team all-state selection as named by The News Journal, Green owned a 16-2 record with two saves, a 0.50 ERA and 269 strikeouts against just 17 walks in 139 innings pitched. Also a first baseman, she batted .397 with three home runs, nine runs scored and 19 RBIs.
P - Brianna Jones, Coffee County Central (Manchester, Tenn.)Jones was 24-6 with a 0.48 ERA and struck out 372 in 206 innings. She pitched six no-hitters and seven one-hitters. She struck out 20 or more twice.
P - Lace Smith, Bloomingdale (Valrico, Fla.)Smith posted a 0.79 ERA and a 25-2 record for the Bulls. She struck out 293 batters and hit .350 to lead Bloomingdale to its first state title since 1993. She has committed to Buffalo.
P - Maci Ingram, Nashville (Ill.)The 2014 Belleville News-Democrat Class 1A-2A Softball Player of the Year, Ingram posted a 28-3 record and a 0.63 ERA for the Hornettes during her junior season. She also struck out 409 batters in 200 innings.
C - Stephanie Abello, Benet Academy (Lisle, Ill.)Abello led Naperville to a 30-3 record as she hit 22 home runs and drove in teammates 63 times. She batted .481 and was named the Naperville Sun's Player of the Year. She needs seven home runs to set a new state record. She has committed to Illinois.
C - Ari Samaniego, Desert Edge (Goodyear, Ariz.)Samaniego once again put up major stats: 16 homers, 15 doubles, 66 RBIs, .682 batting average, 1.582 slugging percentage and 2.299 OPS. With numbers like that, it's easy to understand why the Scorpions were 22-6.
C - Reagan Hathaway, Northwest (Olathe, Kan.)Hathaway hit .759 with 11 doubles, six homers, 36 RBIs and already holds eight career school records with one year remaining. She has committed to Texas.
C - Brooke Samios-Uy, Eastern Tech (Baltimore)She was the unbeaten team's top hitter with a .671 batting average and 44 RBIs.
IF - Tannon Snow, Chino Hills (Calif.)Snow collected 61 hits and drove in 58 runs to lead Chino Hills to a 30-win season. She scored 43 times and had 21 doubles and 14 home runs. She has committed to Washington.
IF - Julia Hollingsworth, Ennis (Texas)Named the Dallas Morning News Player of the Year, Hollingsworth scored 83 runs in 44 games and batted .638 with 45 RBIs as Ennis reached the state finals.
IF - Vada Sherrill, Alexander Central (Taylorsville, N.C.)

The state's first "60-60" player with 60 hits and 60 runs scored, Sherrill led Central to another state title, a 35-0 record and a No. 2 national finish in the final Xcellent 25. She also stole 51 bases and was named the Gatorade State Player of the Year.
IF - Brianna Tautalafua, Carson (Calif.)Named the Wave Newspaper Group's Player of the Year for the second-straight year, Tautalafua once again put up big numbers: 19 homers, 60 RBIs, .561 average and 63 runs in 33 games. She had a .669 on-base average, a 1.402 slugging percentage and a 2.071 OPS. She has committed to UCLA.
IF - Sydney Romero, Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, Calif.)Committed to Oklahoma, Romero was named the HSGameTime All-Inland Position Player of the Year after hitting .612 with 30 RBIs, 11 home runs and scoring 41 runs.
IF - Mary Kathryn Bonamy, Spain Park (Hoover, Ala.)Bonamy was named the Birmingham Metro Area Player of Year. Bonamy, who has verbally committed to North Carolina, led the Jags (49-17) with a .419 batting average and a .911 slugging percentage. She hit 19 home runs, which was tops in the state this season and drove in 65 runs while scoring 42.
IF - Taria Paige, East (Anchorage, Alaska)Paige led the Thunderbirds to a 27-0 record and another state title. She batted .741 with 13 home runs, 48 runs scored, 44 RBIs and a 2.086 slugging percentage. She helped East win 57 consecutive games and a trio of state championships dating back to 2012.
IF - Aubrey Leach, The Woodlands (Texas)Leach batted .589 with nine doubles, eight triples, six home runs, 49 runs batted in and 51 stolen bases. She scored 66 runs. Leach has committed to Tennessee.
IF - Alyssa DiCarlo, Mountain Ridge (Glendale, Ariz.)Committed to Georgia, DiCarlo homered 16 times and drove in 63 despite being walked 21 times.
OF - Alyssa Palomino, Mission Viejo (Calif.)Palomino led Mission Viejo with 17 home runs, 36 runs and 34 RBIs to earn her a second-straight Orange County Register Player of the Year honor. With 42 career home runs, she sits four shy of tying the Orange County record set by El Toro's Lauren Chamberlain. She has committed to Arizona.

The outfielder is ranked as the No. 1 junior prospect in the nation by StudentSportsSoftball.com. In 30 games this spring, she hit .642 with eight home runs, 22 doubles and collected 68 base hits. She scored 48 times and had base hits in all but two games. She has committed to Florida.
OF - Faith Lowry, Gibbs (Corryton, Tenn.)You want runs? Lowry scores them - 84 to be exact in 55 games ,as Gibbs went 50-6 on the season. She batted .604 and collected 113 base hits. She also stole 74 bases in 75 attempts.
U - Andrea Kindrick, Russellville (Ark.)Kindrick batted .604, with seven home runs and 34 RBIs and was 21-3 with a 0.30 ERA and 296 strikeouts pitching. She was named the Gatorade Softball Player of the Year from Arkansas and the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Softball Player of the Year. Kindrick is committed to Alabama.
U - Tamara Statmann, Horizon (Scottsdale, Ariz.)The Arizona commit was imposing in the circle (recording 289 strikeouts and winning 20 games with a 1.22 ERA) and the batter's box (batting a .515 with 52 hits, 25 RBIs, a .595 on-base percentage and a 1.437 OPS).

Sophomores
Miranda Elish of
Crown Point (Ind.), is committed to the University of Oregon before she ever threw a pitch for the Crown Point High School softball team.
And in two varsity seasons, she hasn't disappointed with 41 wins in 43 decisions. As a sophomore, Elish went 24-1 with a 0.31 ERA, 233 strikeouts and only 18 walks in 137 innings and is the MaxPreps Sophomore Softball Player of the Year.
At the plate, Elish hit .462 with 48 hits, 26 RBIs and scored 21 runs. She had 21 extra-base hits, including 16 doubles and four homers. Elish was Indiana's Gatorade Player of the Year.
P - Maggie Balint, Avon Grove (West Grove, Pa.)Balint led the Red Devils to a 20-6 record and a berth in the Class 4A state quarterfinals. Balint owned a 20-4 record in the circle with a 0.46 ERA and 358 strikeouts in 171 innings pitched and allowed just 11 earned runs. She also posted a .405 batting average.
P - Raeanne Geffert, Seymour (Conn.)

Geffert put up big numbers as she led Seymour to a 26-1 season and Class M title. She had 312 strikeouts in 188 innings and pitched 15 shutouts. Geffert, who had an 0.71 ERA, also batted .434, with 29 RBIs.
P - Lyana Waddell, San Manuel (Ariz.)Waddell led San Manuel to the state D-4 title with a 27-2 record and a 1.15 ERA. She fanned 190 in 167 innings and pitched 13 shutouts. She also drove in 21 runs and batted .317.
P - Payton McBride, Deer Park (Texas)McBride led Deer Park to a state title and 39-6 record with a 19-3 record and 1.24 ERA. She struck out 166 in 123 innings. She also batted .404 with 34 RBIs.
P - Devyn Magnett, Cathedral Catholic (San Diego)Magnett led the Dons to the CIF San Diego Section Division 1 championship as she compiled a 25-3 record and 0.49 ERA season.
P - Katie Kibby, Vacaville (Calif.)Kibby won 29 of 30 games as the Bulldogs won the CIF SJS D-1 title. She lost just once and in 202 innings, she struck out 233 and posted a 0.62 ERA. She has committed to UC Davis.
P - Aubree Kim, Mililani (Hawaii)Kim led Mililani (15-3) to the D-1 state championship with a 14-1 record, 1.12 ERA and 143 strikeouts in 81 innings. The Hawaii High School Athletic Association D-1 State Tournament Most Outstanding Player, she won all three of her postseason starts, striking out 28 batters in 21 innings.
P - Mariah Denson, Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, Texas)The Oklahoma State commit was named the District 7-5A co-MVP after leading Timberview to a district title. Denson was 25-5 and had a 1.48 ERA and 251 strikeouts in 165 innings. Denson hit .464 with three home runs and 45 RBIs, and she finished the season with a 23-game hitting streak.
P - Missy Zoch, La Grange (Texas)The Texas Sports Writers Association named Zoch its 3A Player of the Year after she concluded the season with a 31-0 record and a 1.11 ERA. She had 205 strikeouts in 190 innings. She also batted .371 as the Zeps won the state 3A title.
C - Bailey Hemphill, St. Thomas More (Lafayette, La.)Hemphill led St. Thomas to the 4A state title and was named 4A MVP after hitting 17 home runs, 14 doubles and driving in 56 RBIs. She batted .630 and has committed to Alabama.
C - Rachel Ayer, Meade County (Brandenburg, Ky.)Ayer hit a state-record four home runs in one game and finished with 19 for the season. She also batted .488, scored 44 runs and drove in 65.
C - Toby Sznaj, University (Hartford, Conn.)Sznaj played only 19 games, but they were enough for her to collect 47 base hits, bat .681, score 49 times and drive in 29 teammates. She had a base hit in each game and scored in all but one. She also walked 27 times as University won 15 games.
C - Laina Su'esu'e, East (Salt Lake City)Su'esu'e batted .646 with 15 homers, a dozen doubles and 43 RBIs in 29 games as East reached the state quarterfinals.
IF - Kelbi Fortenberry, East Bernard (Texas)Fortenberry can play anywhere, but she is most impressive at the plate, where she had 69 hits, 48 RBIs, 62 runs and a .683 batting average to go along with 45 stolen bases. She has committed to Texas A&M.
IF - Kaila Smith, Millville (N.J.)Smith, chosen the Daily Journal's Softball Player of the Year, set single-season school records in hits (45), home runs (11) and slugging percentage (.966), finished with a .511 average, 36 RBIs and 31 runs scored and powered the Thunderbolts (25-4) to the winningest season in school history.
IF - Michaela Cochran, Ennis (Texas)Cochran batted .559 with 80 hits, 59 runs and 58 RBIs while stealing 23 bases in 23 attempts.
IF - Madison Douglass, Clinton Prairie (Frankfort, Ind.)Committed to Purdue, Douglass hit .559 with a .705 on-base percentage and drove in 28 runs. Fourteen of her 33 hits were homers and she was named Journal & Courier Small School Player of the Year. Douglas scored 36 runs.
IF - Rylee Rodriguez, Dawson (Pearland, Texas)Rodriguez grabbed attention as a freshman when she drove in 54 runs and hit 14 homers. For an encore, she hit 17 homers, drove in 67 and led Dawson to a 27-2 season.

Gallagher flirted with .800 for most of the season and finished at .695 with a .760 on-base percentage and 1.373 slugging percentage (including 11 home runs). She scored 40 runs and drove in 47 (in 59 at bats), striking out just twice.
IF - Morgan McCallum, Horn (Mesquite, Texas)McCallum, who has committed to Kentucky, led the Dallas area with 17 home runs. McCallum also ranked among the area leaders in batting average (.587), RBIs (50) and runs (61). Of her 54 hits, 36 went for extra bases. She had a slugging percentage of 1.391 and an on-base percentage of .655. She stole 19 bases.
IF - Haidyn Bassett, Oskaloosa (Kan.)Bassett excelled in the circle and in the batter's box – 12-1, 0.35 ERA, 155 strikeouts in 79 innings and batted .569, scored 36 and drove in 30.
IF - Aniesa Maulupe, Carson (Calif.)Maulupe hit 14 home runs and drove in 45 runs en route to hitting .549 and scoring 42 runs as Carson won its final 18 games and the CIF-LAS D-1 title.
IF - Lacey Swafford, Lafayette (Mayo, Fla.)Swafford batted .556 with 50 hits, 44 runs scored, 11 doubles and 18 RBIs for the 18-10 Hornets. She also stole 18 bases.
OF - Tianna Batts, Alexander Central (Taylorsville, N.C.)Batts batted .556 with 47 runs on 45 hits and stole 35 bases for Alexander Central, the North Carolina 4A state champs and MaxPreps' No. 2 team.
OF - Connor McGaffic, South Side (Hookstown, Pa.)McGaffic batted .593 with 46 RBIs. She was named the state's 2A Player of the Year.
OF - Summer Constable, Keystone (La Grange, Ohio)Constable batted .515, scored 50 runs and stole 28 bases as Keystone went 27-4.
OF - Reyna Bondi, Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, Ariz.)Bondi stole 33 bases and scored 46 times as the Nighthawks won the state 2A title. She hit .476 and had an on base percentage of .515.
U - Cayla Drotar, Hartsville (S.C.)The MaxPreps Freshman of the Year in 2013, Drotar led Hartsville (26-3) to the state 3A title when she owned a 14-2 record and a 1.18 ERA (138 strikeouts in 95 innings), along with a .560 batting average, 12 home runs and 44 RBIs. The two-time Class 3A Player of the Year was South Carolina's Gatorade winner for softball.
U - Casey Kauder, Caldwell (Texas)

After winning 18 games as a freshman, Kauder didn't surprise anyone when she went 23-3 with 240 strikeouts in 161 innings. She had a 1.29 ERA and batted .500 with 53 RBIs.
U - Mara Kemmer, Valley Christian (Chandler, Ariz.)Named
Arizona's Small School Player of the Year, Kemmer was 16-4 with 281
strikeouts in 125 innings and had a 0.90 ERA. She also batted .646,
scored 54 runs and drove in 32. She stole 33 bases. She finished the
season with a 23-game hitting streak and had 21 multi-hit games.
U - Kenna DeLancey, Ritchie County (Ellenboro, W. Va.)In leading the Rebels (27-7) to the Class AA state championship game, DeLancey owned a 15-3 record and a 0.69 ERA. DeLancey struck out 196 batters in 111.2 innings and had a .653 batting average, eight home runs and 40 RBIs. She added 13 doubles, 11 triples and 44 stolen bases.
U - Quinn Breidenbach, Enumclaw (Wash.)Breidenbach finished the season with a 22-1 record and 0.42 ERA with more than 220 strikeouts in 120 innings. Her hitting numbers were impressive, too — .554 average and .867 slugging percentage (including 15 doubles) with 39 RBIs. Enumclaw finished 27-1 and with a state runner-up trophy.

FreshmenJenna Ergle of
Sumiton Christian (Ala.) might only be a freshman, but no one has produced runs like she did in leading Sumiton Christian to a 48-14-1 record in 2014.
Ergle drove in 127 runs to obliterate the state record of 99. She is the first player in Alabama prep softball annals to drive in more than 100 runs in a single season and she is the MaxPreps National High School Freshman Softball Player of the Year.
According to the National Federation of State High School Associations, Ergle's RBI total is also an all-time national best. The previous record was 105 by Kelly Kennedy of Light and Life Christian Academy (Taylor, Mich.) set in 1999.
In leading Sumiton Christian to a third-place Class A finish, Ergle also hit 24 home runs, which according to NHFS ties her for second with Holly Curry of Pisgay (Ala.) in 2001 and Erica Martinez of Ft. Madison (Iowa) in 1999.
Not surprisingly, Ergle's 24 homers are the most in a single season by a freshman. It wasn't just Ergle's ability to drive in runs and hit the long ball that was noticeable. She batted .534, scored 76 runs, had 95 hits, 23 doubles, four triples and received 21 walks.
Not satisfied with being named Alabama's Class A Hitter of the year, as a pitcher she also recorded a 23-10 record, 1.64 ERA, with eight shutouts and in 200 innings she had 156 strikeouts.
The Alabama Sports Writers Association (ASWA) took note of her success when they named her the Class 1A Player of the Year, Hitter of the Year and first-team All-State pitcher.
According to coach Jessica Aderholt, Ergle's success came against a schedule that included the best teams in the state regardless of classification.
P - Lainey Stephenson, Veritas Prep (Phoenix)Certainly don't call her a first-year player, not after Stephenson won 27 games with a 0.23 ERA and struck out 381 in 154 innings. She allowed just 39 hits. Her lone loss was to eventual state champion San Manuel (in the state semifinals). She also batted .622 with 61 base hits and drove in 42 runs. She had a base hit in all but one game.
P - Maddy Dwyer, Orange Lutheran (Calif.)

Dwyer pitched in arguably one of the toughest leagues anywhere and posted a 17-5 record and batted .385, with 21 RBIs in 30 games.
P - Kennedy DeMatteis, Moniteau (West Sunbury, Pa.)DeMatteis batted .685 and had 50 hits, 35 RBIs and was 16-1 as a pitcher. She struck out 142 in 100 innings and compiled a 2.31 ERA. She had one more base hit than her sister, who also made the Freshman All-American team.
P - Mariah Nichols, Lone Oak (Texas)Nichols was 32-6 with 291 strikeouts and hit 17 doubles and seven homers. She has committed to Memphis.
P - Miriam Schmoll, Bayshore (Bradenton, Fla.)The Bradenton Herald's All-Area Softball Player of the Year, Schmoll compiled a 16-4 record while striking out 211 batters in 132 innings (1.21 ERA). And Schmoll had a .444 batting average, 30 RBIs and five homers as Bayshore finished 23-5.
P - Megan Brown, Dupo (Ill.)Brown led her team to the 2A Super-Sectionals. She went 28-5 with 279 strikeouts in 194 innings. Hit .482 with three home runs and 35 RBIs.
P - Victoria Guzman, Lincoln (San Jose, Calif.)She batted .536, but her thing was pitching – 22-4, with 200 strikeouts and 1.52 ERA in 106 innings.
P - Kenna Wilkey, Reed-Custer (Braidwood, Ill.)Wilkey hit the spotlight when she shut down defending Class 2A champ Bishop McNamara for a regional title and followed it up with a 23-strikeout performance in a sectional semifinal triumph. For the year, Wilkey posted a 1.77 ERA and fanned 384 batters in 193 1/3 innings. She also had an 11-inning no-hitter.
P - Sam Pochop, Rancho (Las Vegas)Named the Silver State D-1 Pitcher of the Year, Pochop was 15-3 with a 1.02 ERA and struck out 214 in 116 innings.
P - Natalie Lugo, South Hills (West Covina, Calif.)The only freshman on the all-area first-team was arguably the area's best pitcher and is already verbally committed to NCAA champion Florida. She earned Sierra League first-team honors, finishing 16-6 with a 0.98 ERA with 197 strikeouts in 150 innings. She also helped the Huskies reach the D-2 playoffs.
C - Taylor Johnson, Beecher (Ill.)Johnson opened her high school career with an assault on the IHSA record book with 18 homers (sixth-most in a single season). She also drove in 68 runs and batted .598 with 11 doubles and five triples.
C - Kylee Leonhardt, West Lincoln (Lincolnton, N.C.)Leonhardt hit .602 with 56 RBIs and 11 home runs as West Lincoln finished 22-4. Her batting average ranks among the top 20 in N.C. history.
C - Kristina DeMatteis, Moniteau (West Sunbury, Pa.)DeMatteis had a base hit in every game and finished with 49 and a .662 batting average. She drove in 31 RBIs and in 16 games had two or more hits.

C - Danielle Romanello, Canterbury (St. Petersburg, Fla.)Romanello helped led the Crusaders to a 22-6 record as she batted .575 with 23 extra base hits and 34 RBIs. She has committed to Florida.
IF - Hali Jester, Foreman (Ark.)One of two outstanding freshmen on the Gators (the other is Kylie Cowen), Jester batted .549, drove in 42 and hit 20 doubles.

Holland made a quick impact on Texas softball when she batted .741 with 43 hits and 39 RBIs in 23 games. She also posted a 0.63 ERA and a 14-2 record. In addition, she struck out 152 and allowed just 29 base hits.
IF - Reese Guevarra, Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, N.J.)Guevarra set the table for 31-2 IMHA with a .505 batting average, 46 runs and 32 RBIs.
IF - Kacy Noland, Pickens County (Reform, Ala.)In leading Pickens County to a 23-9 record, Noland batted .689 with a dozen homers, 22 doubles and 43 RBIs.
IF - Taylor Bump, Canterbury (St. Petersburg, Fla.)Bump, who committed to Michigan, helped the Crusaders win two straight Class 2A state titles. This past season, Bump hit .557 with seven home runs and 36 RBIs.
IF - Alyssa Kumiyama, Gahr (Cerritos, Calif.)Kumiyama had a .989 fielding percentage and added 11 homers and 36 RBIs.
IF - Malia Quarles, Gahr (Cerritos, Calif.)Like her frosh teammate Kumiyama, Quarles hit 11 homers. She also batted .464, with 36 RBIs, 37 runs and had 22 extra base hits.
OF - Taylon Snow, Chino Hills (Calif.)Snow tied a CIF Southern Section record with 72 hits and batted .567 for a team that reached the CIF-SS D-2 semifinals. Snow, who has committed to Washington, reached base 78 times and scored 39 runs in 34 games. She had multi-hit games in the team's last 16 games, including all four playoff games. Snow also hit five homers with 24 RBIs.
OF - Alexa Allen, Leo (Ind.)With Allen hitting .679 and a state-record 76 hits, Leo was 27-6 and won the state 3A title. She also drove in a state-best 51 runs.
OF - Karlee Sparacino, Alhambra (Martinez, Calif.)Already committed to Oregon, the freshman standout was the Bulldogs' top hitter with a .618 average. She had 48 hits, 36 runs and 28 RBIs.
OF - Alyse Rojas, Vacaville (Calif.)Rojas scored 38 times, stole 16 bases and batted a team-high .516 for the CIF-SJS D1 champion.
OF - Brittany Jackson, Lake Ridge (Mansfield, Texas)Playing in a district that included 4A state runner-up Ennis and state-ranked Mansfield Legacy, Jackson had one of the best individual seasons, hitting .553, scoring 41 runs and driving in 25. She stole 25 bases and had a slugging percentage of .776.
OF - Mikayla Coelho, Tracy (Calif.)In 27 games, Coelho accounted for 74 runs (40 RBIs) and had 44 hits (.530 average). She has committed to California.
U - Kylie Cowan, Foreman (Ark.)

Cowan batted .518, had 39 RBIs, stole 45 bases and scored 52 runs as Foreman went 31-4 to capture the state 2A title.
U - Adriana (Chloe) Romero, Academy of Careers & Exploration (Helendale, Calif.)Romero was a sensation pitching and hitting as ACE went 26-1 and won the CIF D-7 final. In the circle, Romero was 18-1, with 1.17 ERA, 200 strikeouts (114 inning). She also stole 22 bases, batted .475 with 48 hits, 44 RBIs, 24 extra base hits and scored 57 times.
U - Allison Zimmerman, Christian Academy of Knoxville (Tenn.)Zimmerman led her team deep in the state playoffs with a 29-5 record and drove in 51 runs with 55 hits and batted .451.
U - Hatti Moore, La Grange (Texas)Moore was clutch for La Grange en route to its 40-2 season and state 3A title as she drove in 47 runs and batted .421 with 26 extra base hits. She committed just two errors (.990 fielding percentage) and stole 16 bases.
